The Domaine du Grand Arc is located in Cucugnan, Languedoc. The property, placed within the Corbières appellation, is the property of two great wine lovers - Fabienne and Bruno Schenk - since 1990. The Domaine du Grand Arc vineyard covers 22 hectares of vines composed of Grenache Noir et Blanc, Maccabeu, Roussanne, Syrah and Carignan. The estate mainly produces red wines which represent 19 hectares against 3 for whites.

Since 2013 they have embraced an organic farming approach, with 2016 being the first organic vintage. Vineyard management is without fertilizer or insecticide, possible due to the observation of bio-indicators such as fauna and flora. The harvest is carried out manually with a strict selection of the best fruit. Minimal sulphur is used, and no artificial yeast or other products.

This wine is a blend of Carignan 50%, Grenache noir 35% and Mourvèdre 15%.

A bright nose of berries, cassis and vanilla. On a slightly savoury palette, spice, blackcurrant and plum dominate. Rustic mouthful, framed by supple round tannins. Very ample and juicy, long finish.
