Jacqueson’s thirteen hectares of wonderfully-sited old vines produce some of our favourite white Burgundies. They stick to strict low-intervention policies and are one of very few producers in the village to hand-pick every grape. This is a rich Chardonnay, oaky and buttery thanks to the judicious use of new oak on 20% of the grapes. Combined with fruit notes that are ripe and sensual, Jacqueson’s Rully Blanc calls to mind Meursault – this is truly outstanding value.
