Bachelet-Monnot’s Chassagne Montrachet is drawn from six well-sited parcels just below the Premier Crus, where the average age of the vines is 30 years. Expect pale lemon colour, and an attractive nose with subtle aromas. The palate ups the ante, however, and this works beautifully with a delicious quality of fruit. A long finish with delicious interplay between the fruit and oak.
