Le Bois Cassien is Mercurey's largest and highest vineyard area and another Chanzy Monopole, planted with 4ha of Pinot Noir. The soil is red with high concentration of iron and small gallet type stones. There is a lovely purity to the wine with juicy strawberry, raspberry, sage and floral hints. Really silky and pleasureable.
