The nose offers up blackberry and licorice aromas and a hint of lush black cherry. Tart cherry fruit, lifted floral and dried herb notes are supported by bright acidity and elegant tannins on the palette. The wine is framed by characteristic acidity from the Barbera grape.
Pair with grilled steak, tomato based pasta dishes, hard full flavoured cheeses.
