Bodegas Manzanos is now in it's 5th generation of winemaking and are a prominent family in the region. They own two wineries in Rioja, including the oldest winery in the city of Haro, the traditional centre for winemaking in the region.
A blend of Tempranillo 90%, Garnacha 5%, Mazuelo 5%
Fermentation in stainless-steel tanks at controlled temperature, with twenty-one days of maceration. 95% of the wine sees oak treatment. 18 months in neutral french and American oak. 6 months in bottle.
Garnet red color, intense and deep. Aromas of black fruit, licorice, spices and chocolate.
Round, structured wine with a pleasant fruity hints in the aftertaste.
Aromatic & intense, lovely aromas of wild red berries, blossom, nutmeg & hints of sandalwood.
Fresh, fruity and well balanced with sensations of raspberries, vanilla and cinnamon.
Perfect accompaniment for chargrilled meat, cured ham and tapas.
