For this wine - 40 year old vines on gravel soils from a single plot in the appellation of Mercurey. The terroir is formed on a stony slope with a rocky outcrop. Harvesting is made in two passes.

A deep garnet-red in the glass. Perfumed nose of black fruits, undergrowth and spice on the nose. Round delicate tannic structure – well integrated - and smooth fruit character on the palette. Good length.
