Bremerton are a member of Sustainable Winegrowing Australia and have been experimenting in making preservative free wines for a number of years resulting in the release of this Shiraz.
The great thing is that if no-one told you this wine was sulphate free you really wouldn't be able to guess from the rich ripe plum and bramble fruit flavours and silky texture. The concentration of anthocyanin (the pigments responsible for the colour in the fruit) help preserve the wine. So no funk, no bret just an intensely drinkable Aussie Shiraz.
Great, low-sulphite, organically-made Shiraz. Ripe redcurrant and blackberry with a touch of spics and oak.
